Profile

Dr. Prashant Bhandarkar has been practising as a specialist in the field of Gastroenterology for over 20 years, currently in the city of Nagpur. He was Resident in Gastroenterology for two-and-a-half years at TNMC & BYL Nair Hospital in Mumbai (1992-94). He then served as Lecturer in Gastroenterology at GS Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai, for over five-and-half years up to June 2000, and then continued for four additional months as Associate Professor at the same institution. Dr. Bhandarkar started his private practice at Dhantoli in Nagpur, in August 2000. He also worked as Visiting Professor of Gastroenterology at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram, from 2001 to 2010. He is well trained in all aspects of Gastroenterology and has extensive experience in teaching and research as well.

Dr. Prashant Bhandarkar completed his graduation (MBBS) and post-graduation (MD Medicine) from Government Medical College, Nagpur. He holds the titles of DNB (Diplomate of the National Board) in Medicine as well as Gastroenterology, and also has the DM (Gastroenterology) superspeciality degree to his name, from TNMC & BYL Nair Hospital in Mumbai.
